Wampserver not working on Windows 8 Pro

I recently just upgraded my Win7 to Win8 Pro only to find out that Wampserver isn't working. The green color refuses to show up even when I click "Start All Services". It shows "Could not execute menu it (internal error)..." when I click Put Online. Skype is not running and i don't think other programs are using port:80. Please can anybody help me out? Thanks in advance

maybe a suggestion - not sure if you will need to reinstall the Microsoft Visual C 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package ?
