[solved] Wampserver online, but localhost or 127.0.0.1 not reachable

Hello,

Wampserver Icon states "online", but I can not access the start page via localhost or 127.0.0.1.
tried with IE 8 and Firefox as well. Windows Firewall is inactive.

I have installed WAMP Server 2.2 32 bit (Apache 2.2.22 – Mysql 5.5.24 – PHP 5.3.13 XDebug 2.1.2 XDC 1.5 PhpMyadmin 3.4.10.1 SQLBuddy 1.3.3 webGrind 1.0) on Windows 2003 Server Standard.

I have also installed
- MS Visual C++ 2008 and 2010
- Adobe Reader 9
- Firefox 14.0.1


Firefox states: no connection
IE is waiting for some seconds, then redirects me to bing search (http://www.bing.com/search?q=localhost&src=IE-SearchBox&Form=IE8SRC)
i tried with or without http:// and I tried on both browsers to access the root directory or index.php (http://localhost/index.php). index.php is available in www directory (// Page créé par Shepard [Fabian Pijcke] <Shepard8@laposte.net>winking smiley.


Does somebody has an idea?

What's the colour of The icon

when I start Windows and login as Administrator, there is no Icon.
After starting wampmanager.exe, the W Icon is red and turns to orange after ~3 seconds

It should go green. Something is using port 80

Hi Steve,

netstat -ano
[s14.directupload.net]

netstat -a
[s7.directupload.net]

No port 80 listed there, but my Taskbar icon is orange.

Another idea? :-)
