Error trying to run php 5.2.8

Hi, I've setup the 64 bit version of WAMP running Apache 2.2.22, php 5.3.13, mySQL 5.5.24.

I'm trying to run this setup but reverting back to php 5.2.8, but when I switch to this version WAMP won't come back online, the icon stays at orange.

In my Application Log I get the message

The Apache service named reported the following error:
>>> httpd.exe: Syntax error on line 127 of C:/wamp/bin/apache/apache2.2.22/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load C:/wamp/bin/php/php5.2.8/php5apache2_2.dll into server: The Apache service named is not a valid Win32 application.

I'm a bit confused by the message as I'm running the 64 bit version. When I downloaded php 5.2.8, I had no option re 32 or 64 bit versions.

I've obviously done something wrong, I'm just not sure what??

php5.2 doesnt come in 32bit smiling smiley

you will need to download apache too from the addons page and run them both together

they will both be vc6 32bit. and the icon will go green again
