WampServer

You cannot run them both at the same time.

MySQL uses port 3306 by default so 2 wont run on the same machine at the same time.

Stop the MySQL that is running in XAMPP.

Also check thta it is not starting Automatically, if it is then change the startup type to Manual.

Hi I am having the same problem with the message

"#2002 - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. The server is not responding (or the local server's socket is not correctly configured)."

My teamviewer id is **** and password is ****

Could you please help?

I have same issue please help , It's very urgent i need to deliver a project but i am not able to access mysql.

This is the Best Solution - I have used - Every time there is a power blackout or pc switches off.
Do the following
1. Locate your MYSQL version)
My location is
C:\wamp\bin\mysql\mysql5.1.36\data\

2. Delete - config files (namely not folders - Folders are databases names -yes) BUT /Except 3 Bottom 3 files Namely.
- ibdata1
- (you rpc-name).err
- (you rpc-name).pid

Restart Wamp and it should work.

I have same problem with login into phpMyAdmin.
