Hi i have tired install the provided program but wamp server still wont work can you help me please

I have new to Drupal, I have set up wamp server ver (wampserver2.2e-php5.4.3-httpd2.2.22-mysql5.5.24-x64)
on windows server 2008 r2 with sharepoint 2010 , Visual studio 2010 with sp1 , windows mobile sdk 7.1 pre installed.


Evrything works fine until i try the wsclient which requires oAuth which requires ph_curl to be enabled.

I had tried to enable the same from clicking the wamp server>php extn , it gets enabled there but still i get this error

when i am trying to enable oAuth module i am getting this error
"drupaloauthclient requires the php curl library. ( Currently using oAuth cURL library not found) "


In application log i get

Application log error details:
"Activation context generation failed for "~\wamp\bin\php\php5.4.3\ext\php_curl.dll". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC90.DebugCRT,processorArchitecture="amd64",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis."


I have tried downloading the 64 bit (php-5-4-3-and-php-5-3-13-x64-64-bit-for-windows) and replacing the php_curl dll still it did not work.

Also checked the php.ini file in the PHP / Apache folder for php_curl.dll enabled.

still stuck and can not enable oAuth module which will not let the wsclient /services module to work ..please help

When installing on Windows Server 2008 you must do the following:

Load the Application Server role

When installing WAMP32 -
1. install vcredist_x86 VERSION 2008 - www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=29
2, Install vcredist_x86 VERSION 2010 - www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555
3. Install WAMP32

When installing WAMP64 -
1. install vcredist_x64 VERSION 2008 - www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=2092
2. install vcredist_x64 VERSION 2010 - www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632
3. Install WAMP64

(When I downloaded the above I changed the file names to include the version number)

If you have problems running phpmyadmin, webgrind, or sqlbuddy:

Check C:\Wamp\alias\ (all .conf files and delete the line "Deny from all"

Hi, I have tried several times installing WAMPSERVER (64 BITS & PHP 5.4) 2.4 and it keeps telling me: "this application has failed to start because MSVCR 100,dill was not found. reinstalling the application may fix this problem."
and then it keeps "installing" the other components and when it's about to finish installation it says: "Apache HTTP Server Stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly"

I had my antivirus disabled.....

I really want to install and use this software bundle.... help please.

Hi § To uninstall, go to Parameters=> progams and functionality (I'm french, I suppose is the good translate)

Wampserver : I tried with 2.4-x64, 2.4-x32 and 2.2e-php5.3.13-htppd2.2.22-mysql5.5.24-x64
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010 and 2012 installed in the both version (x32 and x64)

No Skype, no firewall, no antivirus, no old files before re-install => no change

Apache don't want to launch. The icon of Wamp stays orange.

I didn't have problem with the old Wampserver in VC6.
But with this one, it's a really problem for a lot of persons, no ?
I'm looking for a solution since 7:00 a.m this morning !

Hi all

I had this problems it seem to me i had mixed versions of MSVCR100.dll and solved as following.

Uninstall all VCredisxxx versions in Control Panel Programs & Features.

After unistalled all versión, search for file MSVCR100.dll in the entire disc and manually erase it if found one.

Reinstall VC10 sp1 as posted previously in this forum for x86 & x64.

Check to have the MSVCR100.dll in windows\system32 and Windows\Syswow64


Now check to reinstall or simple check Apache service and install service.

Good Day Everyone.

I am having Windows 7 professional version installed on my 32 bit Dell laptop. I installed VC++ Redistributable 2010 (and 2008 also as suggested by stevemartin99 in page 1). Yet wamp does not run.

I keep getting message - http.exe - bad image - "c:\windows\system32\MSVCR100.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains error. Try installing the program using the original installation media or contact your sys admin".

I uninstalled VC++ 2008 and 2010 along with wamp (verion 2.4 as downloaded from wampserver com) and again installed them, starting with redistribtion packages. Yet problem still persists. The icon is orange and whenever i click on menu Apache - install service, above msg comes up. Clicking on test port 80 gives "Your port 80 is not actually used."

Please help

Are you sure you downloaded the 32bit version of WAMP.
Also the 32 bit versions of all the C++ redist packages?

I'm facing the same problem.

Uninstalled and Installed VC++ (2008, 2010) several times and still the .dll boxes poping up.

Could anyone help? Windows 7 Home Basic 64bits :s
