We're running Joomla 1.7.3 in a WAMP 32 environment and it's working fine. I'm using Akeeba backup to restore the Website onto WAMP 64 on a Server 2008.

The Joomla website comes up ok but I get a blank page when I try to login to the Admin backend. There are no errors in the Apache or PHP logs. I've tried disabling all the Joomla plugins I can find prior to the backup/restore but I still can't the admin end of Joomla working. I've also tried turning on Joomla debugging but I don't see anything as no page displays.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks,

Greg.

Steven,

Yes. The Akeebe backup restore process does an SQL backup of the database and prompts for credentials to wipe the database on the destination server and overwrite it.

The restored Joomla website is working ok. I just can't get into the Admin end to do anything and WAMP isn't logging any errors, just giving a blank page.

Cheers,

Greg.
