I dont think you need to change anything on thsi Apache 2.4 config. Because require local encompases 127.0.0.1 and ::1 and localhost

ok... so i am running the IPV4 route... lol

I have access via LAN to see the page located at c://wamp/www/index.php

but i do not have access via WAN..

My hosts file is settup correctly with the only thing showing is 127.0.0.1 localhost
My wamp server indicator is green and says server online
My httpd.conf file says this:

Listen 0.0.0.0:80
#Listen [::0]:80

ServerName localhost:80

.... But when i go to the URL from another computer it just loads and loads and eventually says This webpage is not available

i tried turning off both my routers firewall and my windows 8 firewall separately, and at he same same time and still getting the same results so i know it's not firewalls...

What else could it possibly be?

If by WAN you mean the internet, then :-

Have you port forwrded your router?

If not you will have to, see PortForward.com for some assistance in doing that

Beware of opening your sites up to the internet, and make sure only what you want to be visible is visible.
