localhost problem

i installed wampserver , but when tryed to open localhost it asked for username and password , i don't know what username and password to give and don't know where to change the username and password .i tried even username and password as root and localhost

You will have to be more specific about what you are actually doing.

What are you keyin into the address bar of your browser.
