Hi All,

I have installed WAMP server and trying to connect localhost with default port 80 but not able to do so.

I changed the Listen to 81 it workd fine with 81 or any other port.

But I want to use default port 80.

I have checked where this port is been used on system then I get this:

C:\>netstat -aon | findstr 0.0.80
TCP 0.0.0.0:80 0.0.0.0:0 ABHÖREN 4

That means this port is used some where and I am not able to kill / stop that process so cant use this port any more.

If any one really know how to fix it , please tell me

Thanks

I've noticed that when I go to WAMP dock icon -> Apache -> Service -> Test Port 80, I received a message that Port 80 is used Microsoft HTTPAPI/2.0. So, I think you need to stop Web Deployment Agent Service (MsDepSvc) from Administrative Tools > Services area. You can disable the service, to have port 80 ready when you boot your system.
