No installed service named "Apache2.2"

I just did a fresh install of 2.1 on windows 2003 SP2, 32bit. Apache won't stay running and I see this error when I attempt to start it from the command line:
[Sat Mar 19 13:56:31 2011] [error] (OS 2)The system cannot find the file specified. : No installed service named "Apache2.2".
I checked the windows server that was installed and it is wampapache, not Apache2.2.

How are you trying to start it wrong the comand line?

it would be

"net start wampapache"

anyway, you must have apache2.2 installed previously from a selfinstaller thats causing an error

navigate to the httpd.exe directory for wamp in cmd

and use

httpd -E log.txt

you wil get a log file one folder before the bin.

Yeah, I have IBM HTTP Server on there which is apache 2.2. I had it disabled though. I will uninstall WAMP and IHS, then try again.

Clearing out all apache related services and rebooting, the reinstalling WAMP fixed the Apache start issue. It also fixed the problem with the WAMP Manager menu not appearing.
