Hello, When I try to start the wamp server I am getting this error

This is on a Windows 7 64 bit machine.

before this I get Aesten Tray menu has stopped working.

Exception Exception in modle wampmanager.exe at 000F15A0.
Could not execute run action:

I dont know why it has started this. I have uninstalled, restart the server, reinstalled with hopes that it would get fixed.. but it has not.

Did you find a fix to this error? I am receiving the same error as well.

Already installed latest Wamp in couple different Windows 7 PC's but did not run into that issue, so my best guess that your Firewall/Antivirus or some web related programs such as any other web server, remote desktop... cause the issue

I got the same error. I have a Windows Server 2008 an IIS 7.0. I need to run both IIS and WAMPServer

Anyone out there know how to fix?

Install the Visual C++ 2008 Runtime from the microsoft website at:

64-bit WAMP:
[www.microsoft.com]

32-bit WAMP:
[www.microsoft.com]

This fixed the error for me.

if this is true.. its a disaster for wampserver i hope this is not correct for thenew version

I wouldn't really call it a disaster. Perhaps there just needs to be a launch condition during setup to go say "hey, install this Runtime so this thing works"

Ok maybe not a Disaster but the 2010 runtime should be on windows 7.

This could mean the astean tray menu will need to be recompiled or changed.

But its not 2010 its looking for. Its looking for 2008.

I develop in 2008, VS9 = VS2008. I guess they're not backwards compatible

A lot of software out there still reply on 2008 or even 2005 run time, so you have to install what it requires

I also had this error with exception 000F15A0 and after installing the Visual C++ 2008 runtime everything then ran perfectly. Thx for the help. I'd have never guessed at that.

I had the same issue and realized we didn't have .NET Framework 3.5.1 installed. Immediately after installing this Wamp stopped giving me the error. This is after I had already installed the Visual C++ redistributable package. Hope this saves someone some time!

Please make sure you have the latest version of all of these Microsoft C++ Redistributable runtime libraries.

The 2008 Redist is used by wampmanager
The 2010 Redist is used by Apache
The 2012 Redist is used by Apache

FOR WAMP 32bit
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) [www.microsoft.com]
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) [www.microsoft.com]

If you are using WampServer 2.4
Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 [www.microsoft.com]
And select vcredist_x86.exe

It doesn't work, Wamp runned fine since I installed it like two days ago, today I get to the office and it says that same error, but I've already installed everything that you say (and every forum states) when I downloaded WAMP. So I "repaired" those installations, restarted teh computer and uninstalled Filezilla (I've installed it earlier so it was a "let's see what happens) I don't know what else to do.
