Hello my Wamp is kinda annoying me...

if i delete or edit files they dont make any change ... they are still be saw

for example if i Delete a Folder and i link to it from the browser it still opens its content
or if i edit a .htaccess file it dosnt make a change even if i restart apache or all services

Is there some setting in Apache that Caches images or files ?
if so how may i disable it so it wont cache any files

It's the browser.

Change setting to not store history and always look for new pages

Hi,

In Firefox, you can use Ctrl+F5 to do a complete refresh.

Note that if you were online and then you disconnect (as I do with my laptop), you may have fall in offline mode, which does not notify you everytime, and refresh your page only from cache !

To solve this problem (in that case), just untick "Work offline" and refresh to get your modified page.

Hope this help.

yes this is the worst part of firefox..

you can try typing in

about:config

in your address bar: Scroll down the list and find

browser.cache.disk.enable;true

and

browser.cache.memory.enable;true.

change to false.

i have tired this on FF3 but works on ff1,2

and as u can see there i was told it can be a apache issue

i have tried to use other Browsers like IE 8 To test the page and things are still there
they take effect after a amount of time..

I've been using wamp for years and never encounter this problem but mostly see people had this issue because they had some addons to their browser or wrong permission in their firewall/antivirus
