WampServer

Hi guys, i've just installed latest version of WAMP on a windows xp sp 2. Everything is working fine, i've made a new folder in the root and stored all my php files and a css file in there.

The css file is read correctly when i check on localhost, all the other files have the correct color, height width etc but if i make any changes in the css file they are not shown in local host until i restart my computer. This is really strange and a big hassle.

I edit the CSS file using wordpad.

Any help would be appreciated.

sound like your browser addon or firewall/antivirus so you should clear browser cache and add exception for wamp in firewall/antivirus instead of restarting pc

I had disabled the antivirus and still same problem

or set ( sorry)


in IE > TOOLS> INTERNET OPTIONS> "BROWSING HISTORY" SETTINGS

Set to "everytime i visit this page"

Also check that you are not in "Work offline" mode in your browser ("File" menu).

I had some headaches to understand why I refreshed my pages and nothing changed !
If you disconnect from Internet at any time, your browser goes sliently in that mode, and use cache instead !!
