WampServer

I just installed WampServer and mysql is installed but when I try to login to the console with default password your_password , it dispalys an error message and shutsdown , and found Plugin 'FEDERATED' is disabled in the error log.Eeverything seems to be ok apart from that could anyone explain how to resolve the issue

search ur pc for my.ini and delete any not in the c:/wamp folder..

restart.

I too have/had this problem.

I can log in to the console with the password I made for 'root' but not with the password I made for a new user?

It's not a big deal now as I can actually log in,maybe you can try that?

On a side note is it possible to log in with the users password instead of root's password?

If u set the user to have all priviledges


And of course set the phpmyadmin configuration file to log in with the new user/password found at

C:/wamp/phpmyadmin/configuration.Inc.php

yep, just simply set db account
