Hi guys new to PHP and WAMP, following a tutorial and have successfully configured mysql root password but i don't have the setup.php file in the scripts folder for PHPmyAdmin dir.

I keep getting a 1045 Error password:NO when trying to access PHPmyAdmin. I have tried tutorials and looking up the documentation nothing seems to work I can't configure the config.inc.php manually because its way out of my skill set.

thanks for any help.

I already followed that tutorial it didn't really help... And I have already removed my password. I just need to configure PHPmyAdmin so it knows my 'mysql' password... where is the setup.php file ?

there is NO setup.php in phpmyadmin and if you've already followed my guide and can NOT setup password, you must did something wrong since thousands wamp users already success w/ that guide; thus suggest to go over the guide a little slowly and step by step winking smiley
