you should have uninstall the services using the wamp menu before you uninstall it

if your talking about in the brower.. then clear the history fully

1.

LEFT CLICK WAMP ICON

APACHE> SERVICES> UNINSTALL SERVICE
MYSQL> SERVICES> UNINSTALL SERVICE

2. UNINSTALL WAMP

3. DELETE THE WAMP INSTALLATION FOLDER.

4. OPEN YOUR BROWSER AND CLEAR THE HISTORY AND COOKIES

if you do these 4 things it will be gone.. otherwise your doing it wrong

Yes I do this but when I open phpmyadmin I get this:

1)The additional features for working with linked tables have been deactivated. To find out why click here.
2) Your configuration file contains settings (root with no password) that correspond to the default MySQL privileged account. Your MySQL server is running with this default, is open to intrusion, and you really should fix this security hole by setting a password for user '.root'.

I try to set a password and activate the configuration by documentation but doesn't work.

These are not issues with an old version of wamp installed

error 1 is not an error.. its simply a notice to tell you its linked t disabableled. it is disabled. if you need that you will need to enable it. if you dont know what it is- you dont need it.

error 2 is telling you that you DO NOT have any password set. This is again normal as there is no password set on install. Go and set one in phpmyadmin .. and add it to the config.inc.php file so phpmyadmin can log back in again - as you would have done with your last version of wamp server
