nothing listed in your projects after install

Iam following the instructions for running Joomla on a localhost from this site "/www.compassdesigns.net/joomla-tutorials/how-to-install-joomla-15 ". I have installed WampServer 2.0 as instructed, the icon is white in the tray, and the application launches. There is nothing at all in the "Your Projects" section. The instructions show a list of 5 folders with joomla type names. Since thew next instruction section is for un-packing the joomla files I am assuming these folders are in the WampServer software. Any help?

ensure that the files are in the www- folder
