I am using full tags only but I am getting the same old dialog of 'open','save' 'cancel'. Do I need to make any change in Apache webserver. But I suppose that WampS takes care of all such setting. Pls. help me out.

I have downloaded the contents of Zen Cart v1.3.9f into C:/Wamp/www/Zencart, and then rename the two files dist-configure.php to configure.php in the two folders: C:/wamp/www/zencart/includes and C:/wamp/www/zencart/admin/includes. Open your browser and type in [localhost] to start the Zencart installation. However, I only get a blank screen!! Anybody can explain the problem. Wampserver is running.

Hallo there,

I also have installation problems. I've downloaded 2.0i, went thru the installation proces, got an icon next to the clock (it has a white color). After I choose Start All Services nothing happens. I can't get in my local host.

What I've tried so far is:
- Skype is not using port 80
- IIS is turned off
- I've tried to change file Host in Windows/system32 but can't save is. I get an error Access denied.
A couple of months ago I was using Wamp but then something happend and I can't get in anymore.

Please, I desparatly need your help.


In error log van MySQL I see that plugin Federated is disabled. How bad is that?
Error log van Apache says: Child 1880: Starting thread to listen on port 80. Parent: Received shutdown signal -- Shutting down the server.

How can I check which other programs are using port 80 if that is indeed my problem?

all sounds good if the icon is white.. the logs seems normal

this issue maybe your hosts file..



try http: //127.0.01 in your browser.. if that works ,, then this is your issue.

move the hosts file to your dekstop.. edit and save it

and more it back


The hosts file should ONLY contain

127.0.0.1 localhost
