WampServer

Every time I try to view a page on localhost, I get the following error:

Apache/2.0.63 (Win32) PHP/5.3.0 Server at localhost Port 80

At first, I did have it set up wrong with Apache 2.2.11 and PHP 5.3.0, but when I downloaded and installed 2.0.63, I still get the error.

I'm a web designer, and I don't know much about any of this, so forgive me if I'm asking a question about something obvious to the rest of you.

To see why you're getting the error left click wamp taskbar icon and choose Apache > error log. Post the last 10 lines here.

I copied a few more than 10--the top three are repeated over and over.

BTW, thanks for your help!

Left click WAMP tray icon choose Apache > Modules > rewrite module

your script has htaccess file which requires to enable mod-rewrite which you can enable through wamp tray icon

I am getting the same error but it doesn't work.

it shows 500 Internal server error.

Have you checked the apache error log?
Have you checked the Windows Event log for messages from Apache?

If so what are they?

First fix is you need to include rewrite_module into apache


Do this by


left click wampmanager icon -> Apache -> Apache Modules -> rewrite_module
