WampServer

Hi, just installed Wampserver on my laptop. It is a dual boot PC (XP & Vista) and I'm using the Vista partition. When I try to run WAMP I get the above message. What does it mean? CLI to me means command line interface - but I don't see the connection here.
Any advise please

You'll have to install WAMP on both XP and Vista. I dont think you can run WAMP in Vista if its installed on XP (or vise versa).

When installing or running WAMP make sure you're logged in as an Administrator.

in fact, it should be fine as long as you install wamp in each os in its partition and as c2dan mentioned, you have to be admin w/ full privilege when installing wamp; to make it more clear, here is example: when log into xp, you will see xp parition is C: while vista is D: and vice versus when log into vista, you will see vista partition is C: while xp is D:, but no matter which os you log into, you still install wamp on C:

yes i did, from the download folder to my c drive..could that be the problem? and if so hw do i fix it. i already reinstalled but it still shows the same CLI HAS STOPPED WORKING error

i mean-- u didnt install it.. then move the folder?


otherwise search your pc for "php.ini"

and remove and not in the wamp folder

Realized that I had a version of php installed on C:\ that i forgot about
Was trying to install WAMP on G:\
