I installed WAMP5 Version 1.7.4, already open php_gd2 and confirm ";" is removed on this line "extension=php_gd2.dll" of php.ini, but GD still not working, can not show verification code picture, only show a red color mark over theres, anybody can help? thanks.

I do as you said, now already use WampServer Version 2.0, but still the same problem, so how to do?

To enable GD on wamp2 left click wamp tray icon and choose PHP > PHP extension > click php_gd2

Wait for the wamp tray icon to turn white again. If its not working then there is a problem with your code.

i tried but not still working.

i do not think it is the problem of code, since it works fine with WAMP old version and work fine with Phphome as well, but just has problem with the latest version of WAMP, i searched on net and found this problem also mentioned by other people as well, it looks no solution untill now....

is there anything in httpd.conf that needs to be added for gd?

A BIG "never mind", problem was in my code.
