1, i install the wamp server on my pc and paste my index .html file to www directory

2, then i change host file of friend pc by adding line my ip address ie

78.101.117.86 www.test.com

this ip address is my public address which i got it from whats my ip

now its work fine pc1 when we type localhost or 127.0.0.1 but when i go to friendspc and type test.com or 78.101.117.86 it is not working

now then i change host file in my pc as same as friends pc and type test.com is show my router login menu.when i tried localhost, it is working.

then also i tried to change port ..still same error

my router default address is 192.168.0.254 and also i tryed thest test port 80 it show the apeche server is working in port 80

You'll need to configure your router so it forwards port 80 to your PC that has WAMP Server installed.

You can go to [portforward.com] and find instructions for your make/model of router you're using. You may also need to configure your firewall so it allows external requests on port 80

I FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION OF PORT FORWARD AS PER THEY SAID AND THE PORTFORWARDING IS WORKING FINE.. BECAUSE I ALREDY TESTED IT BY THEIR SOFTWARE .NOW THE PROBLEM IS, I AGAIN TESTED IN MY FRIEND PC .......IT IS NOT WORKING

HOST FILE IP IN FRIENDS PC - (78.101.117.86 IS MY PUBLIC IP)
------------------------

78.101.117.86 test.com

78.101.117.86 www.test.com

THEN I TRIED IN MY PC WITH THE SAME HOST FILE THAT I ENTERED IN FRIENDS PC. HERE LOCALHOST &127.0.0.1 IS WORKING FINE.THEN I TYPED WWW.TEST.COM BUT IT IS NOT WORKING.SO I TRIED AGING WITH MY IP THTS 78.101.117.86, THEN ITS WORKING. SO THEN I UNDERSTAND THAT MY PORT FORWARDING WORKS FINE(BECAUSE BEFORE IT COME ROUTER MENU).BUT STILL ITS NOT CONNECTING FROM MY FRIENDS PC.

IN SHORT MY FRIEND PC NOTHING IS WORKING AND IN MY PC (SAME SETTINGS HOST FILE IN FRIENDS PC)LOCALHOST AND 127.0.0.1 AND MY PUBLIC IP 78.101.117.86 IS WORKING BUT WHEN I TYPE TEST.COM IT IS NOT WORKING

I DIDNOT TRIED THE VIRTUALHOST SERVICES..........BUT I GUESS THAT NOT THE PROBLEM. IF U THINKS THATS IS THE PROBLEM PLEASE SEND ME THE CONFIGARATION AS I AM TYPING THE ORGINAL IP (78.101.117.86) USING PORT 80 WHICH COPIED A INDEX FILE IN WWW DIRECTORY
