Hello, I was wondering how fast your upload speed needs to be to host a website. It probably will only have about 10 people maximum on at one time. I will also want to host flash games on it. So I hope that is enough information!

As long as your upload speed is greater than 500Kb/s (Kilobits per secound) you should be fine, this will allow users to download at around 60KB/s max from your site. Provided your flash games are not big and are optimized for slower internet speeds you should be fine.

However you will want to check your ISP's usage policy. Most do not allow you to use your internet connection for hosting your own site. Some have usage limits too.

when hosting, it depends on internet upload speed, not download speed, so if you have normal internet plan, you probably have 512kb or less which is only good for normal website hosting, but not good enough for game hosting which is required at least 3mb upload speed depends on how big your game is; for normal website hosting, very old p3 or celeron cpu w/ only 128 ram still able to host, but not w/ game hosting which require decent hardware, especially much more ram depends on how many users connect and access at a time; for example, just built a dirt cheap pc for a friend for 200 bucks so he can install wamp and host warcraft
Core 2 Quad Q8200(2.33GHz)
8GB RAM
1TB HDD
Win7 64bit
