How to install SMF

Hi how can i install SMF on Wamp Server PLEASE HELP i kinda get how to install but need to know better Thx.

smf as in Simple Machines Forum? All instructions for the install process will be in the documentation for SMF.

But any way all you need to do is...

Download SMF from simplemachines.org (choose the zip package). Extract the contents of the zip to WAMP's www/ folder (eg C:/wamp/www).

Left click WAMP tray icon and select phpmyadmin. In the box that says Create Database type in smf click Go. Now go to .[localhost]

Run through on screen instructions. When it asks for database details enter these
Hostname: localhost
Port: 3306
Username: root (or other mysql account your have setup)
Password: (enter the password for account user, leave blank if you haven't setup password)
Database: smf

That is it. The rest is self explanatory.
