Automated installation options

I am a fan of WampServer. I would like to standardize on this distribution when deploying developer workstations. I have tried the standard automated installation command line switches and have been unsuccessful in getting WampServer to install silently.

Are there any options or documentation available to install WampServer in a silent or unattended manner? I'd prefer to use native automation as part of the install rather than send-key or install watcher type automation.

Hey Steven, make that build available to everybody! I have the same need. Command line options for destination directory, silent install, PHP mail options, etc. would be fantastic.

i cant do that though command line.... but i can build you a custom build with certain settings preset..



But if you looking for major changes - VERSIONS, DB INSTALLED etc ill have to charge for time cos it takes time to compile that

I always take the defaults so the current version with a -DEFAULTSILENT install option would be perfectly acceptable for my uses. If the ini files need changing then these could be overlaid after the installation of Wamp.

Perhaps the only other option I would like is -STARTNOW which would start-up automatically after installation.

Maybe I will contact you off list for a quote ;-)

If there are updates to WAMP I hope you will build a silent version as a matter of course. It's Just what I wanted.
