WampServer

Hi all, i have installed wamp, uninstalled it, installed a server all three, then i installed wamp again. Ive deleted everything, installed wamp again and when i start the server it goes to yellow. The mysql service is playing up. Could anyone please help with this frustrating error

I had this problem. Something else on my computer was using the default port. I think I changed the port in my.ini and that solved it.

actaully, you guys should uninstall everything, search and delete anything related to apache, mysql, and php in system and registry, restart pc, reinstall wamp

Ok, would you know where to look. Im not good with deleting stuff lol

click on my computer and then local disk c:/ find wamp and delete that complete folder with a tool called unlocker [www.filehippo.com]

unlocker will unlock and delete wamp complelty even if its running



PS: Install unlocker first then go to c:/wamp and right click on wamp folder and unlocker will do the rest if you select delete with unlocker panel

let me know if that worked

Ok ive done that. But its still not working. Mysql service still wont start. But if i wait about an hour it will start. Weird lol

Ok ive think ive found my problem. In services i go to wampsqld its still starting. What could be making it take a long time to start. Any help would be much appreciated thanks in advance aaron1178
