Hi I would like to know if it is possible to connect wamp to a database on another sever?

Nothing to do with WAMP but yes this is possible to do. Just make sure your remote MySQL server accepts remote connections.

When connecting to your remove database, rather then using localhost as the hostname us the the ipaddress/domain of the remote MySQL Server you're connecting to.
