Hello

I installed Wamp did all the defaults started it up. Made a basic php page with just an echo response to test out if php is working correctly. The page wont open. every time i try to open it wants to save it to my desktop. When I try useing Iexplore to open the page as a web folder it says can not open in Iexplore.

The file is saved as .php and is in the wamp/www direcetory.

I am using Vista

You made sure wamp is running and the tray icon is white?

You need to be going to [localhost] to run your php scripts

You should open this from 'http://localhost/your_file.php'

Have latest Wamp installed but cannot get php working: ie7 returns the auto_php_file window and my apache error log shows: File does not exist: C:/.../wamp/www/favicon.ico
Port 80 works I think.
Any thoughts ?
