PHP 5.+ is supposed to have simplexml as a default .
see php info:
The SimpleXML extension is enabled by default.
I tried to load a cms that uses SimpleXml on my default server and it says it is not installed?
Can you confirm that the WAMP PHP installed comes with SimpleXml?
