How do you make a thorough uninstall of all of WAMP?

How do you do a complete/thorough uninstall of WAMP?

Already backed up all databases, and folders of sites.

Now a reinstall of WAMP. Is there a list of registry keys that need to be removed? Or is there a find/replace you can use to wipe any problem registry entries of previous WAMP install.

Used the Control Panel Unistall, then ran the Glary Registry repair. It cleared what looked to be two WAMP entries from registry.

I've not been able to load one of my sites on Localhost, keep getting a HTTP.exe crash error message.

Gotta work on the site, so hopefully a complete fresh install of the latest 2.0i will answer that need.

after uninstall, remove wamp folder, search and delete 2 registries wampapache and wampmysql, restart pc, reinstall wamp, but suggest to stay w/ wamp2h for now if your scripts might reply on some functions that omit in php5.3.0, ie. wamp2i

Hello everyone,

I tried unstalling wamp server 2.0 and restered the computer. After doing so I type the address in the brower again and the "It Works" page came up again.

I looked up the registry as instructed above. Is there anything else that I can do to completly remove the service. It seems that there is something that is still installed.

Thank you very much

Have a nice day

Julian

This is not a wamp page.
It come from another webserver, like IIS, EasyPHP, Xampp, etc.

Open Control Panel, Add/remove programs, Add/remove windows components and find the webserver IIS. If it is installed, then uninstall it and restart your computer.

If it is not that, find the another one and uninstall it.
You can still stop current apache service whichis running and install wamp.

"It works " is usually a message from apache when it obviously works.
That's what I think, so look if you have some apache servers still on your pc other that one in wamp.
