WampServer

Hi,

I am new in using wampserver so this might be a silly question.

I'm trying to get my site running local in order to test a Joomla upgrade (5.1.10 to 5.1.12)

I initialy installed wampserver2, copied my live site and imported a backup of the DB.
I succeeded in opening my site local but there where some problems within the pages (eg. error messages in the menu structure...)

I noticed a difference in the versions of apache, php and mysql between wampserver and the versions used by my hostingcompany.

Host wampserver
php 4.4.9 5.3.0
Apache 2.2.x 2.2.11
MySQL 5.0.32 5.1.36

I tried to install some wampserver patches in order to get everything equal but this does not seem possible.
php 4.4.9 cannot be combined with apache 2.2.11...

I first could open my site local but after instaling the patches I can only get to a wampserver "server configuration" screen???

Can someone provide me some advise how to proceed?
(I am scared of running the Joomla upgrade directly on my live site...)
