Hi. You guys must think me a complete and utter moron, for which I humbly and abjectly apologise. I have managed to get WAMP partly up and running but now have a different problem:

I have a localhost at port 8080.

PHP info appears when clicked
PHPmyAdmin fires up (not sure what to do at this point, but have purchased a few books
SQliteManager fires up

I have written a short php script in notepad. and saved it as index.php

<title>PHP Test</title>
<?php echo '<p>Hello World</p>'; ?>

However, when I try and open it up using IE7, a browser widow is called up and I am asked to save it. My assumption is that I have not defined the root. What do I need to do now to set up the root data, please?
