I have Windows 7 x64 and it works, but I can't get anything to work as far as uploaded project files. I have a folder in www called newsite. So I input localhost/newsite/index.php and all I get back is :

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, admin@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Why?

I can see the index.php in www and everything is there including my project folder.

Problem solved. REMEMBER TO ADD REWRITE_MOD in APACHE MODULES!

The problem is Skype or any other program that uses port 80.

Shut down Skype (exit) and start wamp again. Should work.

It is probably your Skype giving you a hard time. Try configuring your Skype this way:

Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Connection -> Unchecking the 'Use port 80...'

I had the same problem and it worked for me.
