No. With the old WAMP (WAMP 5), it would start up by itself. Why did they change it? That's just stupid.

Hey...just wanted to say that I love WAMP. This my favorite download of all time.

Meanwhile, I wanted to add to the discussion by saying that I experienced the same problem and it seems to be related to Windows SP 3. Please keep this thread searchable. It would be great if a fix could be added to address this, also!

Thanks for WAMP!

Same thing for me on vista... wampserver icon disappears after a few seconds.
I noticed that icons are messed up (do not correspond to right program) in the hide inactive icons customize list
Java update icon has been replaced by wamp icon and wampserver has disappeared as text from the list !...
I called Bill gate and he said he will make vista open source for us to be able to work too ! héhé !

Why don't u believe me ? Bill Gate said: "I decided to respect any pc as it always should have been... a private property... people must know what they have inside their property!... no more secret coding!" and then he said: "I will stop giving away only what people would'nt buy otherwise!".
Why don't u believe me I don't understand ?
