I have just tried to create a database and it says I have no privileges. Why is this and how can I change this?

wrong version of mysql..... wat version are u using? id say u prpobaly had a version on ur pc before u installed wamp

I uninstalled it all for some reason and when I re-installed it, this is the result. Should I uninstal and start from scratch again?

Just reinstalled, now I apparently do not have permission to access PHPmyadmin?

Search and delete any my.ini file ouside wamp folder
