Risks during the hosting periode?

Hi
Am I running any risks while hosting an online webserver?

all webservers are risks..

wamp is pretty safe tho, u just need to make sure no folder is open to the public except the one containing ur website...

make sure no one could "inject" code into ur forms that code do any damage to information on ur pc

as with all pc's make sure u have adequate spyware and virus protection.


if u need to open ports in your router , make sure u only open ports thatu need,
iv seen some people open all the ports by mistake.



if ur not comfortable hosting a server then i suggest u look atonline free hosting such as www.10gbfreehost.com
