no. but maybe the version u have needs cookie auth

change these lines in it



$cfg['blowfish_secret'] = '';


to


$cfg['blowfish_secret'] = 'anythingyoulikeatall';


and chnage


$cfg['Servers'][$i]['auth_type'] = 'config'; // Authentication method (config, http or cookie based)?


to


$cfg['Servers'][$i]['auth_type'] = 'cookie'; // Authentication method (config, http or cookie based)?

now it asks for username and pass.and on the button it says cookies must be enabled at this point...this is driving me nuts....lol

see you havent filled in a password yet in mysql so the password is nothing


but i dunno if you can do this on cookie.


the usual way is to go in and set a password,, then set to cookie auth

can u post up ur access log in c:/wamp/logs it might show something?

im confused thx for the help..i will try to mess arround with it..

it is the first for me....this laptop was converted from vista to xp..maybe there is some config issue..

I don't get post up? Should I print the .ini file from c:/wanp/ etc../etc.. and post it up on my refrigerator, or what? What do you mean post it up? If it will make it work I am all about it!
