how do i make it so i still have the admin index and have my web index at the same time so i can still have both

it depends..


if u want ' [localhost]' to bring up admin index then make a new folder in the www for ur website
so that 'http://localhost/mywebsite' will bring you to it


or

leave your website in the www folder. and make a new folder in the www called admin and move the admin index.php file into it

so
' [localhost]' will bring u to ur site

and
'http://localhost/admin' will bring u to the admin page

i want to move the default index.php in the wamp www folder so i can still use it

what wants u to change it????

just open your www folder. if u have an index file of your own then leave it named that and rename the wamp one admin.php
