can't load the snmp extension in php in WAMP2.0a, help!

Hi:
I installed the latest version of WAMP in my win xp box (with win xp sp2)
wamp2.0a : apache 2.26, mysql 5.0.45 , php 5.2.5 , phpmyadmin 2.10.1
when i try to load snmp extension in php, i got problem. Not matter i modified the php.ini or just clicked the manu of wamp to enabled the snmp module, it didn't work.
when i run php -m, i can't see the snmp extension.
Actually i can't modified the extension option. when i commented out some extension and commented some others. The output of php-m didn't change.
any suggestion or solution?

Can you provide an example codes to test it since I have no problem to enable it?
