phpmyadmin problem

Hello,
I just installed wamp and everything is running well. When I go to localhost it brings up the wamp page showing that apache and php are running ok. When I click on phpmyadmin I get this message:
#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using Password: NO)
I can get into sqllitemanager just fine. It doesnt prompt me for a password or anything.
I spent about an hour looking through the forums and tried several things and nothing worked.
Can anyone help?

Check Setup Password on my personal website, and you might have to follow from step 6
