Hello everyone,

I've got a problem with wamp server. You see for some odd reason Apache just doesn't start.
I have no type of messenger on this computer here nor is anything using port 80. I've already tried changing the port to 8080 and other varieties of ports, but again no results.

Also it doesn't log anything when I try to start Apache up.

Now I've downgrade to WAMP 1.7 and for some reason right off the bat that one works perfectly. But when I use WAMPserver it doesn't want to work with me.

Any suggestions would be greate.

Thanks for your time,

-Jolt

Also I forgot to add, that I do not have IIS loaded on this system.

Does your computer have a Windows Firewal enabled and running? You can see the error before apache starts by looking at the Windows System Event Viewer in Administration Tools of Control Panel.
