WampServer

Hi Guys,

I have installed WampServer as explained in "[www.lullabot.com]; to the letter (except I downloaded latest WampServer 2) and am getting the following errors. Have tried numerous forums for this problem and have had no luck. I am champing at the bit to get drupal up and running on the local server (PC windows XP).http:/localhost works fine as does MYSQL etc.

Error message is:

Warning: require_once(./includes/bootstrap.inc) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\wamp\www\drupal\index.php on line 12

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required './includes/bootstrap.inc' (include_path='.;C:\php5\pear') in C:\wamp\www\drupal\index.php on line 12

Index.php and bootstrap.inc files are as per unzipped files from drupal 5.7


Any help gratefully appreciated.

Did you setup db for it prior installing? Check Setup DB on my personal websites

Hi yfastud,

I like your website but looks like I need the Set up applications (drupal,etc help which is in progress). I totally striped and reloaded WAMP following your guide including setting up password and a DB I named as Drupal.

I am still getting the same error message when I unzip the drupal folder and put it into the C:\wamp\www folder

Also with PHPMyAdmin I have a message "Cannot load mcrypt extension. Please check your PHP configuration."

I hope this is not significant. I'd be really grateful for some guidance on solving this one.
