WampServer

Another issue. I upgrade, mostly to have more success running different versions of apache/php/mysql on my computer. WAMP installed fine. I installed several of the apache/php/mysql combinations.

Everything works except any 1.xx version of apache. These versions will not start. I am on Vista Home Premium. The program stops with apache.exe stopped working, and errors like these appear in the event viewer:

and

Event ID 7034: The wampapache service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s).

I can switch between the 2x versions without any problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the exactly same problem, Im on Vista business though.

Really annoying since I was going to try EZ on the server and it requires 1.xx..

Hoping for a solution to this.

just download wamp5 and dont use wampserver2.0

it comes with apache1.3 and will run php5.2 and mysql 5.045

I downloaded wamp5 1.4.4 which comes with an older 1.x apache (the newer ones uses apache2) but right after installation I get the same error message (#¤%#""#%). Obviously my computer wont accept an older version of apache.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
