authentication problem username and password

hey can anyone help me out with this authentication problem its asking user name and password after installing wamp server i ahve no clue abt it please help ..fast i got a project

What are you trying to access ? mysql?

default user and password are

user = "root"
pword = " " (this isjust no vaule just leave blank or press enter type no value in)

not i ahve installed wamp and my attempt to cnnect to local host it says authentication required not the database or phpadmin the first step to connect t o local host here u get u r welcome screen

Hi me to facing the same problem.. wamp was working fine for me but it was accidentally uninstalled. i reinstalled it again now i'm facing the login problem. I'm getting the firefox's login dialog askin for usename and password. I tried completely uninstalling and reinstalled but again notable to login.
First i get a dialog asking password for "". No username & password it accepts

[farm3.static.flickr.com]

When i cancel it other box asking username of localhost appears.

[farm3.static.flickr.com]

then an error page saying "you are not authorized to see this page" appears

[farm3.static.flickr.com]

i couldnt do anything . Is there any way to remove all passwords.I'm going to use wamp offline only..
