WampServer

I am running wampserver 2.0 on a windows box and would like to set up and use https access for my website

Can any one explain how to setup wamp for use with https as allmost all documents on the net relate to linux


any guidance or links would be very much appreciated.

to tell you the truth i have looked through the addon as you suggested in another post but unless i am missing the link you mean, I have the lasted ver of wampserver and with the description given

- Apache 2.2.6 (includes OpenSSL) (installed with WampServer 2)

What other addons do you suggest ?

and what other kinds of changes need to be made?

a simple guide would be sweeet even if it was just pointer to a good article or blog somewhere some how

what doesn's any one here have this version of wampserver 2 not running ssl

I find it hard to understand that no one can point to or has any info whatsoever on implementing ssl on wamp

I see all the directorys and conf files but soon as i load the :

LoadModule ssl_module modules/mod_ssl.so

it breaks wamp

any help whatsoever would be extremely appreciated here thanks

Im also having the same problem. When i loaded the ssl_module, apache started fine but no ssl.
What are the next steps after this? There are some links out there explaining how to configure ssl with apache but all of them were using separate apache, php and other stuffs not wampserver.

This is a terribly difficult thing to do without proper documentation. I have done it but would be unable to properly describe the steps. See toivo's post for what looks like the correct procedure: [forum.wampserver.com]
