mod_ssl.so

I want to use ssl. If I uncomment
LoadModule ssl_module modules/mod_ssl.so
Apache fails to start. I looked in the modules folder but don't see mod_ssl.so. But if I look to see what modules are installed via wamp console, there is a check next to ssl_module.
Any help would be appreciated.

There is an add-on for ssl, check the Addons page
