WampServer

can anyone give me direction on how to configure wampserver2? i use dreamweaver cs3 and manage my site to wamp www directory, i save all my project there, but when tried to test and creat index.php, seems a window pops up asking me to save or open it? how can i display the page i made with the file extension.php? im running vista home pre. also how can i configure apache, sql and php to work togethe...anyone please help...thanks a lot
