Hi, can anyone help me?
When I create my databases with phpMyAdmin and try to access them with a php script, I can't.
Ex.
I am using wordpress. WAMP meets all the requirements. I follow the instructions, edit the wp-config.php file to point to my database, and I still get the "Error establishing a database connection" error page. Can anyone help me? What am I doing wrong?

Did you create db account including db, user, and pass for wp before installing it? If not, you have uninstall it and redo the whole thing

Sorry to trouble you by writing that post. If I use the deafult account:
username: root
password: none
and add a password it works fine

For your own security and easier to manipulate db later, you should create a different db account for it rather than using God Admin User "root"
