Installing Image Magick on WAMP

Hi,

Apologies for my ignorance, if the answer to this is somewhere else on this forum, but I checked and couldn't see it.

I'm trying to install a coppermine gallery on my WAMP server. It appears to install and be working fine, and I can upload documents to it no problem. However to upload images it requires either GD (which although phpinfo says is enabled, the upload returns errors to say it isn't), or through Image Magick.

I've downloaded ImageMagick, unzipped it and stuck it on my C drive. But how do I actually install it, or where do I need to install it too?

I've tried reading through the documentation on imagemagick.org, but its all over my head to be honest.

Can anyone help, or has anyone else tried installing coppermine on WAMP?

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions and help

Regards

Brian

Enable gd2 through wamp tray icon, php settings, php extensions, php_gd2, then restart wamp

After install ImageMagick, you have to setup to point the required extension to the right appropriated fodders to make it work

Actually, while installing to test coppermine, it states that gd2 and ImageMagick are about the same, so just enable gd2 instead installing ImageMagick if you're not sure how to

Many thanks.

I've got it working with GD2.

I was only trying ImageMagick becuase I couldn't find any documentation or a download for GD2, I didn't realise it was under my nose.
