Wamp ports

ok im guessing wamp runs on port 80 which is kinda annoying for me...
This is just a simple question, is there anyway of changing wat port wamp will run on??

Hi,

You can change the port in the Apache configuration file c:\wamp\Apache2\conf\httpd.conf. Edit it with Notepad and find the line:

Listen 80

You can change the port, save the config file and restart Apache from the WAMP icon in the system tray.

If you have more than one site, you can set the virtual hosts to listen on different ports if that makes sense, by changing the port in the NameVirtualHost and VirtualHost lines in the config file(s) in the folder c:\wamp\Apache2\conf\extra.

It's might be more annoying after change port since you and other people always have to include that port in url request each time go to your sites, so if you're using skypes, you should change port for it instead
